Mission Statement

The oceans are the cradle of life on Earth. They make up seventy percent of Earth's surface. They contain ninety seven percent of all water. The zooplankton on the water's surface provides us with half of our breathable oxygen. And the oceans have been responsible for connecting humanity with both each other and this world. We have used it for travel, fishing, gathering resources, and drawing religions from its depths.

And yet, we know more about the surface of the moon, a place outside of our own atmosphere where we landed in 1969, than the oceans we have known for thousands of years.

The Atlantis Project is designed to discover the mysteries of the oceans and what lies beneath the blue. I've collected my experiences of travelling to places where few have dared to dive, and here, I share my discoveries. You deserve to know what the oceans have hid from us. I hope to usher in a new era of oceanic exploration and bring us closer to what we once believed to be simply legend.
