An Introduction

I've decided to jot down all of my experiences travelling the ocean here. I won't go into too much detail, considering I have quite a few things I'd like to keep a secret, but I will say a few things that are important for understanding my work.

I'm not doing this for my own selfish desires, but to share this knowledge with the world. I find it honestly quite surprising that we haven't done more research on the ocean yet, with us humans always dying to explore new places and catalogue what we find. I guess that's why we're looking towards Mars. We seem to think that we know more about our ocean than we actually do.

The discoveries I make, which I will share with you as time goes on, are not lab experiments or specimens to keep in cages. They belong to this world, just as we do, and maybe they even have more rights to this planet than us. For all we know, they have been here for much longer than we have. I believe that maybe, if we treat these strange and wonderful unsolved mysteries with the respect they deserve, we may grow closer to this world and appreciate it for what it is.

I don't even know what I'll do when the oceans have been fully explored. Knowing how big they all are and how things are constantly evolving and adapting everyday, I doubt that The Atlantis Project will ever be truly finished. Perhaps one day, I will find someone who understands and appreciates my work, someone who may be willing to pick up my work where I left off.

May The Atlantis Project show you what I have seen. I pray that my efforts won't go in vain. The oceans still contain a world of mystery, and if I have to be the one to discover them, then I'm willing to carry that cross, no matter the cost.
